Scott J. Davidson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Wetland Carbon Dynamics and co-research chair of CARCLIQUE (Québec wetlands as nature-based climate solutions) in the Département des sciences biologiques at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
He leads the Wetland Resilience Research Group, which investigates how peatland and wetland ecosystems respond and adapt to climate change and disturbance regimes, with a focus on carbon and vegetation dynamics and ecosystem functioning. His research integrates field studies, laboratory analyses, remote sensing, and modelling to better understand the spatio-temporal dynamics of wetland ecosystems.
