Quantify the responses of carbon fluxes to disturbances: measure the fluxes of CO\u2082 and CH\u2084 from vegetation and soils in wooded wetlands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Assess the responses of peat soils and microorganisms: collect peat\/soil cores and roots, and analyze microbial communities to assess how disturbances alter underground carbon storage and processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3.
